I hope everyone is having both a relaxing and productive weekend. Continuing on with my pen and ink experiment, I sketched this yesterday while sitting in the backyard. The drawing is about 7 x 7 and I spent about forty minutes on it. I was trying to be looser and less rigid than I am normally, so I hope this feeling comes through to the viewer. Although it is not perfect by any means, it was an excellent exercise and allowed me to capture a small part of my backyard that I have never drawn before.Â
